Hello folks,
for quite some time I plan to do a compilation of Protracker MOD music. But instead of using existing one, I'd like to release a compilation of MODs done by active Atarians.
The concept for this prod is as follows:
* disk image release for ST use - MODs will be packed here
* file release for Falcon and PC use
* small STE only intro screen featuring one of the MODs from the compilation
* ST/STE replayer software
* NO shell - all MODs can be doubleclicked and copied from the desktop
I'm currently working on the intro screen and I hope to have it working before Christmas.
Now it is your point to submit your MOD music according to the following specifications:
* ProTracker ST/STE compatible .MOD files
* per person you may submit a maximum of 100KB of music
* this 100KB may consist of more than one MOD file
* please do not pack your music - i'll do that for the final release version
* deadline for .MOD submission is January 8 2006 - the time stamp of your emails counts
* submit your MODs to Simon Sunnyboy / Paradize <marndt@asmsoftware.de>
* you may submit a small ASCII file with logo to credit your MODs
You may ask why I choose the 100K restriction? Well the purpose is to fit many nice MODs from different composers onto the disk.
If this project goes well, there may be further MOD compilations in the future.

cheers,
