These are definite downers. A silent diskmag would just suck. Also a colour-dithered diskmag would too.

This is a positive side to some manners, as all atari and compatible boxes can use it in his/her prefered resolution and refreshrate on the monitor. 60Hz chosneck/alive/ucm on a modern monitor make your eyes bleed! Any emulator could run it as well, including measly st ones and more highend like magic[pc|mac] or aranym.

Read the other thread where ppl suggest grey of doing html issues. To do the text formatting html'ed from the start means it's much easier to translate to online-issues.
Right now chosneck has some html-style markup to format the articles, while alive has some completely different thing. Why not keep it html? Then there's a short leaning curve to use the diskmag-shells special features.
And just because the text formatting (colours for example) is html doesn't mean the mag-shell has to be a full html-browser, only some selected tags could be supported to gain the wanted functionality.
