Ok, some more updates :)

1. Applications/Utils:

Octalyser (spelled like that, not Oktalyzer!) also uses 16pixels left border trick, the palette can be changed freely with STe-colours and it uses hardscroller for the fullscreen/8-channel view. And lastly Octalyser also supports Microwire controls.

- Player (very fast modplayer for STe!). Uses STe demo sound and Microwire.

- E.P.S.S. by Unit 17. Advanced software sample-synth plugin module for Cubase (and the likes). Uses 2-16 channels STe-dma sound.

- Playsid by Cream. C-64 SID emulator. STe-dma sound and Microwire.

- JAM by Cream. STe-dma sound.

- Audio sculpture by Syncron Assembly (Sync). 4-channel STe-dma sound, and even support for modified STe's with 16bit audio.

- TCB tracker by TCB. 4-channel STe-dma sound.

- DBE Tracker by Sector One. 4-32 channel STe-dma sound.

- Digicomposer by Istari. 4-channel STe-dma sound.

- Quartet v1.5 by Microdeal. 4-channel STe-dma sound.

- Oszi by .tSCc. 4-8channel STe-dma sound.

- Blippblopper by Unit 17. Chiptracker with STe-dma sound digidrums.

- Photochrome. Uses enhanced STe palette and blitter (blitter is missing currently in the infos).

Demos:

- Yo-STe by An Cool. Uses hardware scroll, dma sound and STe-palette (update for current entry).

- Vision by Zeal. Uses STe-dma sound (update for current entry).

- Talk Talk by Excellence In Art. Uses STe-palette for fading and STe-dma sound (update for current entry).

- Bad Taste by Brainless Institute. Uses STe-dma sound and blitter (update for current entry).

- Dynamite by Unit 17. 8-Channel STe-dma sound. STe-colours (update for current entry).

- Grotesque by Omega. Also uses Blitter.

Phu..

And now to a little effect that is STe-exclusive (well the ST can't do it at least) and for which there is no name . The STe screenpointer can be set on interupt every scanline to a new address. Which enables large dists and stretch effects to be made, nearly without any CPU-useage. Not sure what to call it. Let's say trick X.

Some demos that uses this trick:

- Hallucination 96k from Reservoir Gods 2003.

- Illusion from Phaelon demo by NeXT (also uses Blitter, STE-dma sound and STe-colours).

- Just Musix 2 by DHS. Intro, menu and scroller screens.

- Core Flakes by New Core. The intro with double zooming texts uses this thing to good effect.

And some games that does this:

- Obsession by Unique Development Sweden. The board/score table is splitted up this way.

- Utopos by Aggression. Dual player splitfield with independent hardware scroll for each field.

- This I am not sure about, but if Lethal Xcess is so extremy optimized as Cyclone says, then I take for granted the status panel and playfield are spearated in this way too.

Ok, that's all for now. I'm sure there will be more to add.
