Hi Beetle, thanks for the reply.

I kind of guessed that running with Radeon would be a non-starter but tried in a spirit of 'what the heck!' anyway ;-)

It was at that point that I got a black screen but a soundtrack.

I will try with Videl, as soon as I figure out how to get a Vide-only screen mode that displays properly without having to CTRL-Boot all the way to the desktop.

I trawled through the original Pouet discussion and found this quote from Evil, which might be interesting.

"Xeron, I have tested the (Free)MiNT port for Atari, thanks for trying it :-) It works a bit, but not fully.

The screen changes resolution, goes black - but stays black too. The synth starts playing, although a bit lagged, as if the CPU is too slow (66MHz 060). Exit with ESC works a treat, no crash or so.

Perhaps lowering the mixing frequency for the port would do the trick ? 32780 Hz is a native Falcon frequency."

- This sounds identical to my experience, although the music player sounded fine without lagging, but then again, we're throwing 90 MHz at it!
