No sign of life on these flash pins. WE and OE show +5V constantly.
CE is tied to ground by the way.
I tried assembling the flash.s code and calling the get_version and get_date routines. These are designed to retrieve this info from the flash.
I get bus error on the move.s $e00000+whatever commands. Not sure if this indicates a problem. It is trapped by the code by changing the bus error exception handler address.
